Sunday @ the Brook

Lots to report this weekend but I can’t find the cable that connects my camera to my computer (you know they wouldn’t just let it be a regular usb cable, then you wouldn’t have to buy theirs!), so you you’ll have to come back beginning Monday to catch the action.

Tomorrow is going to be an exciting day at MeadowBrook.  Rick Deerman will be bringing the message as Pastor Randy leads a team to Mexico.  I promise you this, there will lots of sweating.  As we sing, here’s the game plan:

The choir opens with “Glorious.”  Big number.  The congregation sings “God is Great”, “Joyful, Joyful We Adore Thee (passion version)”, and “Blessed Be Your Name.”  My brother-in-law (who heads up the missionary orphan organization Heart of the Bride – check them out at heartofthebride.org) will offer “If I Stand”, a Rick Mullins classic.  It’s gonna be good.  Then Rick will sweat and bring the Word.  Or is it bring the Word and work up a sweat?  I’m not always sure which one comes first.  Anyway, see you tomorrow.
